Align Body With Mind... From Gross to Subtle
"Preserving Yoga For Generations"

Regular Classes Overview

Our regular classes primarily cover asana practices along with basic pranayama and meditation.

We impart personalized training although they may be practicing in a group, following a systematic approach after assessing the student’s age, body condition, prior experience in Yoga, and medical history, if any. In accordance with our system, we do not encourage more than 16 participants per teacher in a class. This is to ensure we provide individual attention on one-to-one basis as per our tradition.

Our focus is on the subtle aspects to help the Practitioner achieve the real benefits of Yoga. We emphasize on incorporating the five essential elements in the asana practices which are offered in our classes.

Five Essentials of Yogasana Practices

  • Flow (Vinyasa): The process of placing body parts with complete awareness of movements to attain an asana (Yoga posture) and demounting the Yoga posture with awareness to reach the base position.
  • Breathing (Shwasa): The synchronization of the breath with the movements of the body parts during the process of attaining the Yoga postures.
  • Maintaining The Posture (Stithi): The final posture of a yogasana should be maintained for a certain duration to derive maximum benefits.
  • Focal Point (Drishti): Having attained the final Yoga posture, it is important to focus on specific internal and external points of the body.
  • Relaxation (Vishranti): During the movements of the body while performing the asanas, and in between the asanas, the body needs to be in a relaxed state.
